Broncho drop epic 12-minute video ahead of upcoming indie-laced album, 'Bad Behaviour'

Having toured with Queens Of The Stone Age in the UK and Europe last year, Tulsa, Oklahoma's Broncho return with Bad Behavior, due out on 12 October 2018 via Park The Van Records. The band's fourth album is loaded with thoughtful, nuanced rock and roll with an art school spirit and a punk rock heart. The songs reveals their fly-on-the-crumbling-wall vision of our moral climate, complete with a reenergized, accessible sound and the charmingly sardonic, smiling-while-sneering delivery of singer and bandleader Ryan Lindsey.

Watch epic 12-minute video for double single "Sandman" and "Boys Got To Go" -

The video has garnered over 23K views thus far and the singles have already received some excellent traction on Spotify, with over 110,000 plays for "Boys Got To Go" and 70k on other services. Spin said; “Broncho’s psych-pop innuendo is stronger than ever on ‘Sandman’... a blurry electric blues punctuated by lusty trills and stinging guitars. The folkloric Sandman sprinkles magic dust and brings dreams to sleeping children”.

AVEC shares new visceral video for most honest track yet, ‘Under Water’

AVEC has shared a brand new single along with an accompanying video for her brand new enticing single ‘Under Water’, taken from her recently released album 'Heaven / Hell' released on 14 September via Earcandy Recordings. AVEC’s latest album Heaven / Hell was produced and mixed by Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers, SOAK, Berkeley) at Attica Audio Studios in Ireland. The new single follows success of AVEC’s debut record What If We Never Forget released in February 2018 and the dazzling remix package ‘Waiting For Remixes’ which included remixes by electronic producers Alex Schulz, HOUT and Nora Medin.

Her latest single ‘Under Water; is an extremely personal take on being honest with yourself. It might hurt to be honest with others while keeping your own mental health in check, but in the long run it’s needed. It might feel like you’re “breathing under water”, but if you don’t attempt to swim through the waters, you will end up drowning yourself in negativity.

Watch AVEC's 'Under Water' below -
The music video stars a stellar performance from actress Runa Hansen and was directed, produced and shot by Gabriel Hyden. AVEC’s video for ‘Under Water’ is a gripping and difficult to watch journey of an individual's struggle with self-acceptance. Water is ever present as we see the lead struggle to breathe in simple situations, but fighting it nevertheless. My initial thought was that it’s about anxiety, depression and mental health, but towards the end she accepts her circumstances, making me realise it could also be about self-acceptance. Love who you are, even if you sometimes have to work on it.

Speaking on the music video, AVEC adds, “When I first saw the video for ‘Under Water’ - filled with so many emotions and despair, I got goosebumps all over my body, because it just moved me so much, I can’t even describe it. I love it, I love the whole idea of it and I absolutely love the scenes they shot underwater - she is such an amazing actress!

Discover your own strength with At Pavillon’s freeing music video for ‘Lions’

At Pavillon’s ‘Lions’ has had the internet abuzz recently and it’s finally been given the music video treatment. At Pavillon is an indie group from Austria known by many as a bunch of romantic rebels in matching button-up shirts, all four of the members of At Pavillon hail from Vienna and have an incredible chemistry, on and off stage. The band formed in 2014 and have been working hard ever since; now that they’ve reached great heights in the Austrian scene, the band are spreading their wings and hope to spark interest in other countries around the globe.

‘Lions’ is an incredibly catchy indie-rock song with a chorus that aims to empower and inspire. The energy of this track, and of At Pavillon in general, could be compared to that of indie-rock heavyweights The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club and The Wombats, while the band’s sound can be held up alongside firm indie-rock favourites Catfish and the Bottlemen and Cage the Elephant

Towards the end of the video, the band members’ eye colour change to a golden hue, implying that they themselves have turned into lions and they believe in the power that they each hold within.
Staying true to the essence of ‘Lions’, the band described the video as a “video about being free, staying true to yourself and fighting for what you believe in”.

Battles within ourselves, battles with and within our society, battles between each other, with our loved ones, battles between ideologies. It’s also about struggling to identify where those battles lines start and end, and what within us and within our environments cause these struggles, and ultimately cause our suffering. It’s ‘Smooth Sailing’ with Julietta as we get the low-down from the synthpop princess who has just released her debut album

New York City-native synthpop songstress Julietta is a fierce ball of drums, fashion and self-discovery. Having just released her debut album, ‘Smooth Sailing’, this unique musician is bringing her own spin to the classic indie-pop sound that we thought we knew. Julietta’s music has the funk of disco but the thoughtfulness of blues, all undercut by an infectious modern electronic energy.

On ‘Smooth Sailing’, Julietta shares stories from her adolescence as a wild youth in NYC, getting caught up with the allure of big city excess that led to addiction and struggles with mental health. While struggling to gain her sense of self, Julietta discovered her voice through songwriting as part coping mechanism, part cathartic release.

Listen to Julietta’s album, ‘Smooth Sailing’ below.

We caught up with Julietta and chatted about new-age music, dreamy vibes and what the future has in store for this talented artist.

To those not familiar with you, how would you describe your sound?
Indie Electro Synth Pop.

How did it all start for you? Why music?
It's what my heart wanted.

Which three albums would you say influenced your sound the most?
A mix between Banks, Blood Orange and Chet Faker.

You've been playing a lot of live shows recently and have a couple more lined up - which has been your favourite show you've played (so far)?
My fave was definitely at Baby's Alright with Donna Missal and Evan Giia. Badass chicks.

And a show experience that you'd prefer to forget?
When the monitors break and ya can’t hear yourself sing :)

What are some of the key influences in your music? Whether it be the sound created by others, imagery, films or any kind of art form.
Dreamy vibes always.

If you could collaborate with any artist, living or not, who would it be and why?
Fleetwood Mac or Cranberries, I used to listen to them all the time when I was a kid and envision myself being Stevie or Dolores, singing their songs. I really have a special place for their music.

What is one sub-genre you think doesn't get the attention it deserves?
New-age music music to meditate or do yoga to.

Any new or upcoming artists on your radar?
Madge, she's the most badass.
What can we expect from you in the near future? Any upcoming projects or gigs in the pipeline that you would like to tell us about?
Playing my first show in LA Sept 29th at Hotel Cafe with one of my fav ladies Madge!!!!

Famous last words?
Let it go.
