Rock band Weston Rd release their first brutal music video for ‘Take You Down’

Alternative-Rock band Weston Rd has shared the music video for the single ‘Take You Down’. The English rock outfit originally comes from the small country town of Stafford, where they also found the inspiration for their name.

The band cite fairly diverse influences, from Black Sabbath to Hip Hop.  The video presents a whirlwind of drums and the harsh architecture of the ruins pairing well with the guttural vocals. Shot in both a set of ruins and as well as the behind the scenes aspects of the band’s lives, the viewer is presented with a unique combination of a formal music video meeting.

‘Take You Down’ is our first ever single and also the first song ever written with the band in mind, even before Weston Rd was Weston Rd! As it was then, the band was dealt a nasty blow by someone close to us. Just a few hours later, all of the emotion and thoughts that were provoked resulted in ‘Take You Down.’ You can kind of call it group therapy so we hope that it will be group therapy for all those that get to listen to it too!’
